At this time West Sacramento is receiving home delivered meals.

 Home Delivered Meals:
Five home delivered meals are provided weekly, delivered by volunteers on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, generally between 10:45 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  Eligibility for this service is determined by our Programs Department.  The following criteria are reflective of many of the meal recipients whom we serve:
• Mobility-limited; needs assistance to leave the home.
• Physical disability requiring assistance with two or more activities of daily living, such as eating, dressing, getting up, bathing, toileting, or walking.
• Mental or emotional disability requiring frequent verbal reminders or directions.
• Inability to cook with limited or no assistance available for meal preparation.
Seniors who have been recently discharged from the hospital receive priority, whether receiving meals temporarily or for a longer term.
To schedule an intake interview with Programs Department staff, please contact welcome@mowyolo.org or 530-662-7035.  Those enrolled in this program will be reassessed quarterly – currently by phone  – to determine their continued eligibility, as well as to monitor health and wellness and provide for referrals to other programs that may be helpful.
There is no charge for eligible participants, but we appreciate contribution in any amount you are able to afford.  The actual cost of services is $10 per meal.  Checks may be sent to our administrative office at 40 N. East Street, Suite C, Woodland, CA 95776, or by using a credit card online HERE.  If you are unable to make a contribution, it will not affect your participation in our program.

  • Meals on Wheels comes to your home courtesy of the volunteer drivers. To apply for this program, the Meals on Wheels in Woodland should be contacted (530) 662-7035.
