West Sacramento Film Permit Application

A film permit packet is required for all film projects taking place within the City of West Sacramento.

Permit Application forms are to be filed no less than thirty (30) days prior to the proposed filming date(s). These forms, including all necessary attachments, are to be submitted via email or to City Hall First Floor with Parks and Recreation to Ana De Luna. Applicants should understand that until a permit is issued your film project is NOT approved. Advertisement of your film project prior to permit approval is done so at applicants risk and is highly unadvised. 

Upon submission of all required form(s), the Parks and Recreation Department will circulate the form(s) to the appropriate City departments and regulatory agencies for approval. The contact person(s) listed on the application form will be notified of their approval status within fifteen (15) calendar days. The Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to assess each film project and determine if any additional permits are required.
